Board game & app · Ages 8–15
The maths game where the game doesn’t do the maths.
Roll the dice, then work out where you land — before you touch your token. 241 squares of factorials, traps and tunnels, with three difficulty tiers running side by side so a nine-year-old and a fifteen-year-old can play the same game.
Say it before you move it
Most maths games bolt a quiz onto a board. Factorial Freedom puts the maths in the movement itself. You cannot take a turn without doing a calculation, and nothing moves until you’ve said the answer out loud.
- Roll two dice — then announce which square you land on.
- Land on +3! and you work out the factorial yourself.
- Get it wrong on a bonus square and you forfeit the jump.
- Get it wrong on a trap square and it drags you there anyway.
- Every mistake is shown worked through, step by step.
You’re on square 6. You land on a +3! square.
3! = 3 × 2 × 1 = 6
6 + 6 = 12
→ You move to square 12

70 cards
54 question cards across three difficulty tiers, plus 16 Freedom cards that turn the game on its head.

The app, included
Every printed copy comes with the full mobile app free. The card in the box tells you how to claim it.
Built for mixed ability
Difficulty is set per player, not per game. Rookie players get small factorials and single steps. Genius players get division, mixed operations and zero factorial. They play the same board, at the same table, at the same time — and the game stays close.
The app records how many calculations each player attempted and how many they got right, so you can see what a session actually measured rather than who happened to roll well.
Enquire for your school- Rookie — 2! to 5!, single-step chains
- Pro — two-step chains and multiplication
- Genius — division, mixed operations, 0!
- No accounts, no ads, no data collected from children
- Works offline once installed
